๐ŸŽƒ Has Halloween Lost Its Sweet Tooth? Because These Prices Are SCARY! ๐Ÿฌ

Letโ€™s talk about Halloween because, baby, the scariest thing this year isnโ€™t the ghosts, goblins, or haunted housesโ€ฆ ITโ€™S THE PRICES! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŽƒ

Remember when we were kids and Halloween meant coming home with a bag full of candy, chocolate, and all our favorite sweets? Now, trying to recreate that same experience for our own kids feels like a whole financial commitment! Candy prices are through the roof, and donโ€™t even get me started on the price of chocolate and those little bags of treats. You almost have to buy in bulk just to feel like youโ€™re getting a decent deal!

This year, I decided to switch things up. Instead of going all out on candy, I opted for Capri Suns and party-size boxes of chips. Listen, the kids are still getting treats, everybody gets something they enjoy, and my pockets get a little break! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

Because at this point, Halloween is starting to look like a luxury holiday!

And speaking of sweets, letโ€™s talk about my fellow bakers for a minute. ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿง

As someone who makes sweet treats, I do my best to keep my prices reasonable and affordable. I want people to enjoy my creations without feeling like they have to break the bank to do it. But I also understand why some bakers have higher prices.

Butter, sugar, flour, chocolate, eggs, cream, packaging, decorations, electricity, and all those little extras add up FAST! And that's before you even calculate the hours spent baking, decorating, cleaning, and making sure every order is just right.

Sometimes people see the price of a cake or a dozen cupcakes and think, โ€œThat's too much!โ€ But when you understand the cost of ingredients, the time, the skill, and the effort that go into creating something special, you begin to see the bigger picture.

Affordable doesn't mean your work has no value, and expensive doesn't automatically mean someone is overcharging. Every baker has different expenses, skill levels, and business goals. We all have to price our products in a way that makes sense for our businesses.

Iโ€™ll continue doing my best to offer reasonable prices on my sweet treats because I believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy something sweet. But I also understand the importance of knowing your worth and making sure your business can continue to grow.

So this Halloween, whether you're handing out candy, Capri Suns, chips, or homemade goodies, just know that we're all trying to make the magic happen without going broke! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŽƒ

Tell me, am I the only one who switched up Halloween treats this year, or are y'all feeling these prices too?
